Congratulations! You are obviously ready to take your eBay buying and selling to the next level and I commend you for that. Now, this system works and can make you money, how much is only determined by the amount of time and energy you
invest in it. I can show you this system and you could never look at it
again.....or you could use this system right away and start finding
some great items at unbeatable prices!
Instructions
Simple
choose which ebay you would like to search by clicking on the tabs, or
for convenience I have listed quick links to the various misspelled
searches below (will open in a new window)
Simply type in the correct spelling into the search box of the item your looking for. For example type in Hilfiger (Tommy Hilfiger clothing is very popular). Now after you type in the word and click on "find bargains" you will see a link appear lower that says view bargain results from ebay.com. Click on that link and walah!
You will see a return of every single possible misspelling of that
word. Click on the auction and place a bid and keep an eye on it until
it's close to the end.
The site will remember your searches, on the left hand side you will
see a box called 'my favourite searches' , so if you're a fan of Tommy
Hilfiger clothing you can simply revisit the site and click on the
Hilfiger link to re-search ebay for Hilfiger products on a regular
basis !
Advanced Options
The site includes some advanced search options :
list onlyitems that have a gallery image!
Want to show all misspelled items that you can purchase with your paypal account ?, then check this box!
Using this option will include the correct spelling in the search
results, useful if your not getting many results with all the
misspellings or if you want to compare prices of correctly spelled
items!
TIP #1
Quite often people will advise you not to put a bid in until the last
minute, however i've found this is different with misspelled listings,
if a seller doesn't get any bids they will relook at their listing and
often withdraw it or correct the spelling (therefore creating more
interest and less chance of grabbing a bargain!) So put a bid in at the
earliest opportunity !
If
the bidding starts at say $.99 and nobody has bid I will usually throw
a starting bid of $1.01 out there. The reason I will do this is because if the seller notices that he has misspelled the item he can go and change it or cancel the auction and re-do it.
Does that make sense? I tend to always "watch" the items until the end
of the auction. To "watch" the items just click on "Watch this item" in
the upper right hand corner of the auction. Now when you go to "My
eBay" at anytime, you will see all of the items you are watching (maybe
10 maybe 100) and there is an option ebay gives you to write notes
under each item being watched. This is awesome! Why?
Because after researching what the item (spelled correctly) goes for on
ebay (for researching see step #3) you can write a little note like
"This item averages $110 on ebay" or "One of these just sold for $55".
The reason the notes are so important is because it lets you check back
before the auction ends and see if the item has reached top bidding or
if it is still within the range to make you some money. Plus this
allows you to research it once, come back days later to finish up the
auction without having to go research it again.....you know what you
are willing to spend on it!
TIP #2
- This tip is very important and available now through my
"trial and error". Avoid searching too many name brand words such as
"Craftsman" instead search for "Circular" (for circular saw). The
reason this is so important is because if Bob, a Carpenter got on ebay
because he needed a Circular Saw, he is going to put the words Circular and Saw
in. He most likely won't put the word "Craftsman" in the search box.
Some brand names are good to search though if they are very popular
brand names such as Hilfiger or Gucci, Abercrombie, etc.....So just
remember this and be aware while doing your searches. Also, one word searches return better results.
TIP #3
Here is a list of the searches that I find most successful. This list has been accumulated over the last 6 months. This is my personal list,
you can create your own but this will get you going on the ones that
are working for me at this time. Keep in mind though that we all have
our things that we "specialize" in and you may know some brand names
and things that I have no clue about. So if you are a jewelry collector
/ buyer you will have search words that I may not even know about. If
you are a Vintage Magazine collector you will search words that I
won't, etc. But here are some basic search items that work. The ones
that are in bold font are the ones that I have seen more success with
than the others. The others work and remember one day the results may
be totally different from the next day. That is what is so great about
this system.
Here are some of my search words to get you started! Click here
Ok
so there you have it! Very simple to use and after the initial time
spent setting up and completing your searches those bargains should
start rolling in !
My Cars
Because cars in general are hobbies of mine, I constantly buy, fix, and sell mine, often using this site to advertise. I also advertise others' cars on my site for free. See the information on the Contact page, if you're interested. I currently have a 1994 Dodge convertible, with leather seats, automatic transmission, 5-disc CD player, single air bag, and power locks and steering. The convertible has 80,000 miles. I'll be selling this one soon. Check my What's New page for updates on it. I also recently acquired a 1998 Nissan Maxima SE with 33,000 miles. This car doesn't quite possess the luxurious interior of the convertible; it has regular fabric seats, AM/FM radio and cassette player, duel airbags, cruise control, and no sun roof. Blue book on this car is around 15,000, but I'm selling it for 14,500. If interested, see my Contact page.
Keeping Your Car Cool
Did you know that in 95 degree heat, the air in your car reaches approximately 146 degrees and the steering wheel can reach 158 degrees? So what can you do about it? First, you can tint your car windows. Clear glass magnifies the sun and intensifies the heat. If that's too expensive, buy manual sunshades. They come in cheap cardboard or reflective material. You can also buy shades for the back side windows where your kids are. To avoid hot steering wheels, put a towel over the wheel to absorb sun while your car sits.
Washing and Waxing Tips
Most cars now come with a clearcoat finish, which tricks owners into thinking they don't need wax. Actually, you should wax your car 3-4 times a year. Most manufacturers also recommend washing your car once a week. Remember to start washing your car only when the car's surface is cool and only after rinsing the entire car. Rub gently, one section at a time, and use specific car wash products--never household cleaners. After rinsing your car well, dry it with a soft, clean cloth.
